Blue Sky Events — Concept Rebuild
A brand-true concept site for a real Cairo congress house, built entirely from their published record.
Built for: Blue Sky Events, an Egyptian congress and exhibition management company staging medical and scientific congresses in Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor since 2013 — ICCE, Oto Alex, EAVMA, PACMM and more.

The problem
The company's production work fills five-star ballrooms, but its website undersells it. The public page is built from large flat images with almost no text a search engine can read, and some of the journeys a visitor might take through the site dead-end.
The solution
A self-initiated concept rebuild, shipped as a working pitch. Every event name, venue, date and photograph comes from the company's own published record — nothing invented, and the site labels itself a concept. Fully bilingual Arabic/English with true RTL, an editorial motion system, a unified navy photo treatment that turns Instagram-sourced photography into one visual family, and a page that loads in a fraction of the original's weight.
What it does
Bilingual AR/EN with true RTL
A one-tap language toggle flips the entire site — layout direction, typography and native-quality Arabic copy — and remembers the choice, with no flash of the wrong language on reload.
Editorial motion system
Smooth scrolling, line-masked headline reveals, velocity marquees and magnetic buttons — the same motion language used by award-winning studio sites, tuned to stay on for every visitor.
Unified photo treatment
A navy duotone grade, film grain and real captions turn mixed-quality event photography into one deliberate visual family — and no image ever renders above its native resolution.
Track-record grid from the published record
Eleven named congresses with their real venues, cities and dates; events without usable photography get branded cards rather than stock images.
Working enquiry form
Client-side validation with a clear success state — and choosing a service anywhere on the page pre-selects the matching event type in the form.
Performance as a feature
Under 1.5 MB and interactive in about a second on the first visit — where the site it reimagines ships tens of megabytes of flat images.
Why it mattersto the business
- Shows how a congress house's own archive — photos, venues, named events — can be turned into a credible sales asset without inventing a single claim.
- Demonstrates true bilingual delivery for a market where most competitor congress sites ship English-only.
- Proves that a fast, search-readable rebuild is achievable within the constraints of real, imperfect source material.
Technology
Honesty note: This is a concept, not commissioned work: a live pitch built for a real company from publicly available material, and clearly labelled as a design concept on the site itself.
